Gavin has been climbing the stairs for a while now, but didn't know how to get down. Any time the gate is not up, the boys head straight for the stairs and have so much fun learning how to climb them. So, for the past week we've been working on teaching Gavin how to go down the stairs backwards and teaching Ethan how to go up and down the stairs. Ethan would just sit at the bottom and laugh at Gavin as he'd climb them. Now he too can climb them. I've spent a couple hours now sitting on the stairs helping the boys learn how to master them. Ethan was so proud of himself the first time he climbed to the top that he clapped for himself - it was very cute!

I love it! Evelyn too loves to climb the stairs but she has not learned to go down them yet. I just need to take the time and teach her.
