Thanksgiving in Utah

This year for Thanksgiving we flew to Utah. I have to admit that I was really nervous about the 4 1/2 hour flight with Ethan & Gavin 9 mos. old and not really into sitting for long periods of time (go figure). I am happy to report that it went much better than I had imagined it would - thanks to dramamine for the babies :), and a portable DVD player for Dallin. I wouldn't have minded taking some dramamine myself, but I guess I had to play the part of responsible adult. It was wonderful to be with our families for Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for them and the love and support they give us. My brother Blake and his wife Courtney from Alabama were also there. We were able to see all of Tad's siblings too (except Vance & Zoeanne who live in Albany, NY). We mostly spent the time just visiting and enjoying the holiday, but were able to do some go-kart racing, Christmas shopping, go to a Jazz game with friends (thanks Kami &Trent) and admired some Christmas lights.

He loves to get together with them as they are all within a year of each other. He really misses them and wishes we lived closer.

I had to take a picture of the beautiful Utah mountains. We have mountains here, but not as big, and the trees are in the way so you can't really even see them. I guess sometimes it takes moving away to realize what you had all along.

Ethan, Gavin & I with Granny

Ethan & Gavin all tuckered out after meeting so many new people.

Dallin helping Nana make the pies for Thanksgiving. He really enjoyed this. Nana helped him make his own little pie, which he thought was really neat.

Kennedy helping Tad give Ethan a bottle. What a cutie!

We went to downtown Ogden to see the Christmas village. It was a lot of fun.

Gavin & Ethan all bundled up to see the lights.
