Day 7 - Legoland

On Day 7 we headed to Legoland California.  The boys have been talking about going ever since they knew the place existed.  They were not disappointed!  The weather was finally cooler and it was a day to remember.
The pumpkin was made of lego's too...amazing!

They have a new exhibit which only opened a few months ago...Star Wars Miniland.  Anyone who knows my boys & Tad, knows we are Star Wars fans.  We spent quite a bit of time checking out these exhibits.  They re-created different scenes from the movie and the detail was awesome.

 Another scene/land from Star Wars

Gavin with Wicket,  Princess Mommy with Princess Leia & the "big boys" with Chewie & R2D2.

They also have a whole area where they've re-created popular cities out of lego's....some of them taking thousands of hours for them to do.  Most everything behind them is built of lego's.

One of the boys' favorite rides, the knight's horse.

Tad & Dallin were in line for a roller coaster, so Ethan, Gavin, Logan and I waited in line for the knight's horses again (3rd time) and this is what ensued as we waited.....

.....and more laughing/playing.

.....meanwhile nap deprived Logan is having a meltdown in the corner.  Guess you can't please them all, can you?

One of their favorite things is to play games at the amusement parks, so we let them go fishing.

Its kind've hard to tell, but Gavin is crying in this picture.  He was scared of lots of rides, but we made him go on the smaller ones.  Ethan on the other hand, was so brave....he went on Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain & Space Mountain at Disneyland.  He'd either hold on super tight or just close his eyes.  Dallin loved them all and so did Logan!

Another cute shot of waiting in line.

One of Logan & Gavin's favorite rides - the airplanes.

Legoland closed at 5, so we headed home after that.  It took us about 6 hours to get home, and we were exhausted by the time we made it.
