Day 5 we headed up to Hollywood, then Santa Monica Pier. We ate lunch at the Dolby Theatre, then walked over to the Mann Chinese Theatre and admired lots of the stars and handprints along the way. I think the boys' favorite part was seeing the Harry Potter hand and foot prints as Dallin is a big fan.
This is where we ate lunch. Nothing fancy, but fun nonetheless.
Mann Chinese Theatre.
I'm pretty sure they were ready to roll out the red carpet for us, but we told them we didn't want them to make a fuss for us.
Harry Potter
Twilight
I am a fan of Twilight, not like some freakish people, but a fan.
It was actually kind've hard to find "stars" that Ethan & Gavin knew, but hey, who doesn't love the muppets?
The coastline of Santa Monica.
My boys were ready to hit the beach again....
On the pier. I have to admit, I LOVE piers and boardwalks, and was absolutely spoiled with New Jersey's boardwalks. There were rides, carnival games, icecream (which we did have) and lots of other yummy treats.
Checking it out. We actually saw quite a few guys fishing off the pier. One of the fishermen had a pelican standing right next to him, waiting for some fish. It was pretty funny.
Three of my amigos...
End of Route 66.
That night we headed to my Aunt Rebecca & Uncle Kevin's house in San Diego to stay with them.
