For day 6 of our trip, we headed to San Diego Zoo. It was hot, a lot of walking, and some really cool animals. The zoo is HUGE and we probably only saw 1/4 of it. I guess we have a reason to go back now. We brought my cousin Julianna with us who is the same age as Ethan & Gavin. Tad and I saw what it would be like to have triplets....lots of fun! She is just as girly as my boys are rough & tough. It was nice to have another girl around!

They loved the bugs as much as the big animals.
Our all-around fav was the polar bear. He was so active. He played with his ball, swam all around, and got so close that we got a great view of him.
The second favorite was the panda bear. I guess we love bears! He just hung out and chewed on his bamboo.
That night was Analisa's (another cousin of mine - Julianna's sister) 15th birthday, so we joined my Aunt Rebecca & Uncle Kevin and their family for dinner at Souplantation then cake & icecream at their house. It was really great to hang out with them. We really appreciated them letting us stay at their house.
