Dallin is really enjoying first grade and doing so well. I am constantly amazed at his progress in reading and math. I swear I didn't know that much when I was in first grade. He really likes his teacher Mrs. Ryder and has some great friends. Here are some of the things he's done lately in school:
Soar to Success reading program.
He had to read 800 minutes in 8 weeks and he did it. Here he is at his gold medal ceremony proudly displaying his gold medal. Way to go my little reader!
The 1st & 2nd graders did a musical program called "Arf" where each class was a different dog. Here is my Black Labrador. He did so well. He later told me that he was nervous because there were so many people in attendance that he said a prayer and then felt better.
