Celebrating "Leaf Day"

Yesterday, we had a ward playgroup at our house. So with St. Patrick's Day approaching, I thought it would be fun to make some rainbow cupcakes. I enlisted my three best helpers and we set to work. We mixed, colored, cooked and finally ate our creation. I got a three-thumbs up. While we were making the cupcakes, Gavin asked if it was "Leaf Day" yet. I was confused at first then realized we have a couple of St. Patrick's Day decorations that have four-leaf clovers on them. Naturally, Gavin thought it were the "leaves" that we are celebrating. I love the way his little mind works...it keeps me laughing. Lastly, today Dallin came downstairs laughing and laughing and I asked him what was so funny. He said he pooped and it was completely green and it was because of St. Patrick's Day. BOYS!! I tell ya!
