The Crayola Factory

Last Saturday we went to the Crayola Factory in Easton, Pennsylvania, and had a great time. They have all of their different products there (markers, paints, clay, crayons, etc.) and crafts set up for you to do. Dallin loved it as he absolutely loves to make crafts and use his imagination.

Dallin and I at the entrance.

Dallin making one of his wonderful creations.

Here he is showing off his puppet (Fred) that he and daddy made.

The fam posed in from of the world's largest crayon, and yes, it really is real. I learned that blue is the most popular crayon color. They melted hundred of thousands of blue crayons together that were donated by kids around the world to make this one. If you can't tell, I thought it was fun!

Just outside the Crayola Factory is a monument that was dedicated to soldiers and sailors. It also was dedicated to the signors of the Declaration of Independence as the Declaration was read there (it was read only 3 places) on July 8th, 1776. I am definitely my dad's child: a history lover!

This looks like a fun place to visit. We may have to take Cole. I'm sure he won't really understand, but I'd love to go! Thanks for the info about the most popular colored crayon, very interesting. How adorable are the boys!!
