Tad & I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary and I can honestly say I wouldn't want that with any other person than him! I have been so fortunate and blessed to have him by my side for the past ten years. I was thinking about that the other day, and realized I've been married to him for 1/3 of my life - WOW! He has made me a better person. When my patience has run out with the kids, he is there, patient as ever, to step in and take over. He has taught me the importance of the Saviour in our lives. He has shown me unconditional love, even when I'm sure I didn't deserve it. Thanks to my sweetheart for ten years! I love you even more deeply than the day we said "I do".
To celebrate, we headed into NYC for a romantic get-away. We ate dinner at Bond 45, then walked around Times Square, where he knelt down and gave me a new wedding ring. (I guess this is where I admit I lost my wedding ring about 5 mos. ago). He picked it out without me knowing, and I absolutely love it!! We then saw Billy Elliot on broadway, which was fabulous, then spent the night at the "W" in Times Square. We slept in then attended a session at the Manhattan Temple. It was a perfect weekend, and he planned it ALL BY HIMSELF! I was so impressed! (Sorry no pics as I left the camera in my purse at home.)
A few pictues of us together over the past few years. I didn't realize how few pictures we have of just the two of us, as there is usually 1-3 kids in each picture. I really need to work on that.

Congratulations! I did the same thing a couple months ago when we celebrated our 10th. It totally hit me that I'd been married 1/3 of my life. Weird! I guess we're getting old! That's awesome that he planned that whole big get away and a new ring all by himself. Pretty impressive! :)

10 years! Yay! That's so crazy and I'm sure it has flown by. What a fun get-a-away! I'm glad you guys were able to do it. Totally deserved after 10 years:) YOu guys are awesome! Oh and I think that Tad should totally go back to his hairstyle in the first picture. Pretty sweet:)
