Today was Dallin's first day of 3rd grade. You may be wondering (if you don't live in Arizona) why in the world he is starting school in July. I was surprised too. We are on a modified year round, which means they have 2 1/2 weeks off in October and March and a longer Christmas break. As always, I was excited for him to learn and have new adventures yet sad to see him go. I can't believe I already have a 3rd grader! It has been great having him home for the summer and Gavin, Ethan, Logan and I missed him today!

I of course had to celebrate this monumental day by making cupcakes with a 3 on them for 3rd grade.

Third grade is a big deal! What a handsome young man!
Wow that is early to start school. It will be nice to have breaks periodically throughout the year though. Crazy how quickly they grow up!
