Over the past two weeks, Gavin has had a new found love for our country. He INSISTS on carrying around his American flag EVERYWHERE he goes. It has been quite funny at times to watch him, and not so funny at times, such as bathtime and bedtime where he gets upset that he has to part with his beloved flag. Every morning and after every nap he quickly searches the house to find his flag.

Gavin is also very fond of his silky blankies and his three Mickey Mouse's. He is usually seen toting one of them around.
Some of his other favorite things (that I am NOT so fond of) are unloading my dishwasher full of dirty dishes, spitting his milk from his sippy cup (most recently into Ethan's hair while Ethan was laughing about it), and carrying around his toothbrush and toothpaste insisting on brushing all of our teeth.

I love the flag obsession! Too cute! Preston had a love of his toothbrush and brushing everyone else's teeth too. We pretty much share ALL germs in this house. :)
I love that! It is so funny to see what kids attach themselves to. I think the flad is perfect!
This is so funny after seeing him drag around his flag today at the park. I was impressed that he recognized all the flags in the area as well. I think someday you should make the flag into a quilt for him! :)
