Halloween - Star Wars Style!

Dallin is always dressing up and often pretending to be a Jedi, so naturally Halloween is one of his favorite holidays, and he chose to be a Jedi this year. I think Tad was especially excited because that gave Tad license to finally get his own Jedi costume, which he's probably wanted since he was six years old too!! We had a great holiday and enjoyed parties and parades with many friends.

The Saturday before Halloween we went trick-or-treating at the mall.
My boys with their friends Addy, Livy, and baby Milo.

Tad & Dallin saw these in an ad and decided that "mommy" should make them. So, on Halloween-Eve we had mummy dogs, and they were pretty good.

We also painted (in Ethan & Gavin's case) and carved pumpkins on Halloween-Eve.
Ethan is mid-creating his masterpiece.

Tad & Dallin's masterpiece jack-o-lanterns.

Dalli-Wan-Kenobi, Captain Gavin & Commander Ethan all ready to go trick-or-treating.

Princess Mommy & Taddy-Wan-Kenobi join the crew. Our Star Wars family trick-or-treating.

Our friends had an adult Halloween party, which was really fun.
Here are some of the party-goers.

So cute! I love the costumes. I bet Tad is thrilled that his boys are all Star Wars fans. I will never forget playing Star Wars Trivial pursuit with Tad, He knew facts about Star Wars that no one should know! I was seriously amazed by his Jedi knowledge. It looks like you guys had a great Halloween. Miss you.

I love that the family was all one theme. I have always wanted to do that, but I happen to be married to a real life scrouge! :) Great costumes!

I really wanted Grady to be Yoda this year and I bid on so many costumes on eBay but never got one. I wanted him to be Yoda so I could be Princess Leah but it didn't happen. A pregnant Princess Leah probably would have looked funny anyway. Maybe next year.
