4th of July fun

I love the 4th of July...parades, BBQ's, hot weather, fireworks, and friends are all part of the fun. I am especially thankful for all of the men and women who have served our country, especially my dad, so we can have the freedoms that we enjoy everyday.

We went to a parade and Dallin thought it was fabulous, and that would be because they threw TONS of candy. Ethan and Gavin were completely enthralled and loved watching the different floats/trucks go by.

Tad & Dallin's favorite entry in the parade.

About 3/4 the way through the parade Gavin fell asleep. That kid can sleep through anything. Ethan is plugging his ears as the fire trucks kept honking their horns and sounding their sirens.

We then had a BBQ at our home and had some of our "ward family" came and celebrated with us.

Dallin and his friend Cole at the BBQ.

Gavin enjoyed the cheeto puffs, and the proof is on his face!

We finished off the celebration with fireworks at the community college. Gavin is once again asleep in the stroller, while Ethan is climbing all over Tad.
*FYI: it is illegal to have ANY (even dumb little ones) fireworks in NJ - Bummer!

It's illegal in St. Louis too, weird and totally dumb. By the way, I completely love your little guy's little curls. They are to die for!

I LOVE the picture of your twins - one sleeping and the other one covering his ears. Too funny that one can't even stand the sounds in the parade and the other doesn't even notice during his snooze. I love kids and their different personalities!

Cole wasn't to crazy about the loud sounds either. His favorite were the fire trucks. We had fun at the BBQ. The pictures turned out GREAT!!
