Disney World

We just recently got back from the beautiful, warm, sunny state of Florida (did I say warm? I am really ready for Spring) and went to Disney World for three fun-filled days. Ethan & Gavin did great on the flight as it was only two hours (compared to the five it takes to get to Utah). Dallin had some of the "best days of his life" as he stated it, even though he has been there before. Ethan & Gavin were in awe at all the things to see, ride, eat and do. It was a great vacation and I really hated to come home to the cold and wind. The first day we visited Animal Kingdom, then hopped over to Magic Kingdom, which Dallin called "Magical Kingdom", the second day we went to Magic Kingdom all day, and the third day was Disney Hollywood Studios (formerly Disney - MGM Studios). Here are a "few" pictures as I took about 150 of them.

Animal Kingdom

Dallin and Tigger
(I personally LOVE to see the characters as they act so much like the character they're portraying; I get a kick out of it).

Dallin & I with the ride Mt. Everest in the background. It is a scary rollercoaster that goes backwards too. As Dallin is barely 44 in. tall, he was just tall enough to go on it, so first he went with Tad, and after said that he never wanted to go on it again. By the time they found the babies and I, he was ready to go again and said he would "protect me". What a brave boy he is!

My boys in front of Animal Kingdom entrance.

Magic Kingdom

Ethan on the carousel. I love his smile here. He liked the wind blowing in his face.

Tad & Dallin on the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups.

The boys & I with Pluto. Gavin was enthralled with his whiskers.

Gavin on the Jungle Cruise. I think he is looking for crocodiles. I think this ride is so funny; I told Tad that it wouldn't matter if we missed going on that ride, but he insisted, so we did. It was one of my favorites as the jokes are pretty funny.

Cinderella's Castle at night with the fireworks show going on.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

The entire family in front of Mickey's hat. The babies are either asleep or drinking bottles, I can't remember which.

Dallin in front of a walker from the Star Wars movies. Dallin is a HUGE Star Wars fan (he gets it from Tad). He is wearing my sunglasses as we forgot his.

Dallin was one of the kids chosen to participate in the Star Wars Jedi Knight Training Academy. Here he is after "training" in his Jedi robe ready to fight Darth Vadar. Dallin was victorious. We got it all on video (which you can see at the end of this post). The Jedi Knight behind him is his master. He really enjoyed this; it was definitely a highlight of the trip!

The family with Mickey Mouse. Ethan kept touching his face.

Tad took Dallin on the Tower of Terror, which Dallin said he HATED! So, I took this picture with him looking scared with the Tower of Terror in the background.

Two Clone Troopers (not sure who)?

Our trained Padowan in action!

What a fun family vacation! I love taking my kids places and showing them new things. You guys are brave to go with your two little peanuts. How fun that Dallin got to be in the Star Wars show- I bet he loved it. We are actually having a Star Wars themed birthday party for my boys tonight-( wish me luck on my attempt to make a light saber cake out of ding dongs and ho hos!) I will never forget when we played Star Wars trivial pursuit with you guys and Tad knew EVERYTHING there was to know about Star Wars- I am still so impressed by that. I miss you and I'm excited to see you this Summer!

Looks like you all had a GREAT!! time At Disney World. We took Cole when he was a baby. I want to take him again. I think he would enjoy it more now. I'm sure Dallin loved playing a Jedi, knowing how much he loves Star Wars.

That sounds like so much fun! I can't believe you two are brave enough to take two 1-year-olds on a Disney adventure. What a fun memory. Your pictures are so cute! I love Dallin in your sunglasses. Dylan is always wearing mine when the sun is bothering him. Too cute!

By the way, thanks for the words of encouragement. It means a lot to have such great friends! :)

Looks like so much fun. I'm trying to get Jonathan to let us go to disneyland this year. We'll have to see. Glad you're getting some warmth. Anytime you want you can come out here to get some warmth. Though we are not as fun as disney world.
