For Christmas Tad & I gave his parents tickets to Mary Poppins, so we were glad to have them come out and stay with us for four nights. The boys and I really loved having them come to visit.
We did a Spanish session at the Manhattan temple, which was really nice. That was the first time I have had to wear headphones during a session. If you look really close you can see the angel moroni (unfortunately it's not the best shot and hard to see with the building in the background). The really neat thing about this temple is when you go inside it is very, very quiet. You wouldn't even know you were right in the middle of NYC. The building has a "fake" outer wall, which makes it quiet inside.
We went to dinner at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Factory in Times Square. It was great food, but of course, over-priced.
Mom & Dad Teeples & me outside the restaurant. It was freezing!!
We'd heard they were going to leave the "new year's eve ball" up all year, and yes, it's true. Here it is with the 2009.
We then went on to see Mary Poppins. It was a fantastic show. Anyone who wants to see it, please come and stay with us, as we'd love to have you. Mary Poppins actually flies out over the audience with her umbrella at the end - it was great! We really enjoy having our parents come and stay with us. The kids enjoy having quality time with them. Thanks mom and dad for a great weekend!
UPDATE from "Survival Mode": I had my scope done and have several small ulcers in my stomach and esophagus. The ENT also did some biopsies at the time of the scope. He thinks it is probably caused by a bacteria - we'll see what the biopsies show. For now he just has me taking medication. Thanks for all of the concern, love, and posts!

So good to hear from you Melanie! Your boys are adorable! Yep, I am still at SDCH. Are you working at all? I heard you had moved, I had no idea you were in New Jersy. Good luck with your biopsy results. Hopefully you start feeling better soon!
Hey Mel,
It's Trish. I saw your were on Jen's list. Now you can be on mine 2! I'm pretty new at this blog thing but am getting there. We are living in South Weber and I am still at SDCH too. Your boys are so cute! Hope you start feeling better. It was good to hear from ya!
I'm so glad your inlaws were able to come see you-It's always fun to get visitors. You guys live in such a fun area. We went to Bubba Gump Shrimp in Minneapolis and thought it was ok- you definitely pay for the atmosphere. I'm excited to see you this Summer and finally see your little guys- are you still in for the half marathon? Hope you start feeling better soon.
Oh Mel, i really need to call you. What a crazy time you have been going through. That's fun that Tad's parents came out though. I'm sure that was helpful. I hope you are feeling better, that is so crumby!
