Right after my parents left, Tad's sister, Chalyce & her family came to visit for 3 nights. We loved having them come to stay with us and our boys loved hanging out with their cousins Grady & Christian.
On New Years Eve, we went to Sea Life Arizona, a fun aquarium which the kids enjoyed. Trying to get 2 four year olds to look at me is pretty dang hard....3 four year olds..impossible. Oh well! At least I got Logan to look.
For our New Years party I got out our chocolate fountain and it was a hit! We dipped marshmallows, pretzels, strawberries, oreos and wafers. We also had a yummy cheese dip and chips. Totally low-fat.
Yep, he also dipped his fingers.
The big guys and little guys.
Uncle Aaron, Christian, Tad & Logan.
Me and my sis-in-law Chalyce.
Then on to the next part of the party....the giant popper/cracker that Nana & Grandpa left for us.
Some of the disguises and party supplies inside the popper.
Poor Chaylce being bombarded with noise makers.
Funny faces of the New Year!
The next day we took them hiking in the San Tan mountains. It was a little chilly (for my standards), but beautiful. I have come to love saguaro's (the giant cactus).
The Glauser Family & Edmund.
I really do appreciate the desert landscape and think it's beautiful. Much different from NJ and gorgeous in it's own way.
We really enjoyed being able to spend time with just them as it is often so busy when we go to Utah to visit family that we don't get to spend as much time as we'd like with each family. We appreciated them making the long drive down.

FUN!! I've got to me one of those chocolate fountains!! :) I agree on the beauty of the dessert - we still miss the cactus (and wearing shorts in December).
Happy New Year!
I looks like such a fun party, and having family over always makes it special.
I am glad you had a good time.
