Halloween

This year for Halloween we were lucky to have Tad's sister, Zoeanne, and her family join us for the occasion.  They brought their three youngest.  My kids were so excited to see and play with their cousins.  We made caramel apples in the morning, then Zoeanne, Chelsea (my niece) and I spent the afternoon shopping while Ethan & Gavin were at preschool and the guys hung out at the house.  Then we carved pumpkins, ate dinner in a pumpkin, then hit the streets for trick-or-treating.  It really was a treat to trick-or-treat in Arizona because Tad and I wore shorts and flipflops.  Most everyone sat in lawn chairs on their driveway to pass out candy and there were block parties galore.  Definitely not what we're used to, but so fun!!

My boys and I made spiders a few days before....the perfect centerpiece for our Halloween dinner.

These are actually the caramel apples I made with my friends Marsa, Stacey and Lisa a few days earlier.  The ones we made on Halloween looked just as tasty.

Chelsea helping Ethan decide on a face for his pumpkin....that turned out to be quite the feat as he couldn't get the face just right and got frustrated.

Uncle Vance helped Gavin carve up an awesome one.   Nick & Jeremy taking the job seriously.

 Our dinner in a pumpkin.

Poor Jeremy forgot his costume, so he got stuck with our "patient" costume.
Nick looking ever so handsome as Robin Hood.
My boys were the Avengers:  Captain America, Ironman, Hawkeye and Hulk.

The Avengers & their pumpkins.

Is this awesome or what?  I just couldn't resist taking a picture of Halloween lights on a cactus.

No hats, no gloves, no hot chocolate...just treats and 80 degrees.

You have the cutest boys!

I love all of the cool pumpkins and decorations you guys have.

Also, I always think of you guys around Halloween. That one party we went to left a big impression on us. We think you guys are pretty great, and hope to be able to meet up sometime!
