The Day Has Come....

The day has finally come for Ethan & Gavin to start preschool.  They were SO excited this morning and kept asking if it was time to leave yet.  They were definitely NOT sad to be leaving me....

All ready to go with their preschool bags that their teacher made for all the kids.  I have to admit....I am really looking forward to having just Logan and I home for 2 1/2 hours 3 days a week!  I think I just might be getting a nap in more often than not.

On a sad note, the day has finally come.....when being a third grader is much too old to give your mom a kiss at the bus stop.  Also, much too old to have your dad come listen to your talk in primary.  Also, much too old to walk holding hands with mom or go down the waterslide with dad instead of your friends.....do you see where I'm going with this?  Tad and I are both a little sad our Dallin is such a big kid and becoming so independent.  I guess it's a good thing though and the day had to come at some point.....just wish I could have kept my little boy a little longer!

Also the day has finally come for Logan to walk.  Yes, he is 16 months and yes, he's been "able" to walk for a while, but decided crawling was faster and easier.  He is walking more and more which is sad too because that means my baby is no longer a baby.

"Older" moms are always telling me to enjoy it because it goes way too fast.....I actually believe them now!!

Oh no!!!! I hate it when they grow up! I was looking at Tyson today and realized in about 5 minutes, he'll be taller than I am. I weep!

I hope the nap thing works out for you :) Paigey's in third grade, and one day when I started to go out the door to escort her to the next door neighbor's house, she said, "Mom, can I go by myself? I'm in third grade!" Okay, but we can't help it because we're moms!!

Hooray for naps!
I hope the boys continue to love school.

Dallin is such a big guy! I still don't believe the "you will miss these days" yet, it is way too soon.

Oh my gosh - when did these little toddlers turn into big boys? I can't believe how grown up they look - and it's only been 7 months! I'm so glad you get to enjoy some much deserved quiet time! Miss ya tons!
