An "Egg"celent Easter!

I have recently decided that Easter is my second favorite holiday because of all that it symbolizes and it is in the Spring and hey, who doesn't love a cadbury egg?

Our neighborhood, much to our delight, has an annual Easter egg hunt at the park in our development, so we of course were game. We had pictures with the Easter bunny...

... and an egg hunt. Here we are - all set!

Logan even got the hang of putting eggs in his basket.

Dallin finding a few. There were some that were really well hidden. Not sure we found them all. Hope the scorpions like candy!

Then we had a potluck lunch. Logan was so adorable as he fell asleep after all of the excitement of the egg hunt and took a nap in the park.

Later that night, our ward had an egg hunt and picnic at a park. They also had games for the kids to play after. It was a lot of fun to get to know our ward friends a little better.
(Don't you love the cactus in the background?)

We peeked at our baskets before church, but didn't really enjoy them until we got home.
Church was wonderful - I love having Easter lessons.

One smart kid - went right for the peanut butter egg!

My Easter hunnies!
As is tradition, we all had to coordinate in our Easter outfits. Tad had a matching tie.

Love this guy!

One handsome stud!

Later in the afternoon we colored eggs before we had our Easter "feast" (as Dallin would say). Then we watched a video on Christ's resurrection to make it a perfect Easter day.

So cute! You guys seem to be getting right into the swing of things, I'm sure that helps. Love little Logan's nap at the park.
