So hard to say goodbye...

Leaving NJ was sad because over 4 1/2 years we have made so many wonderful, sweet friends that we hated to leave, and had traveled to so many fun & exciting places. I was absolutely MAD when I found out we were moving to New Jersey and then 4 1/2 years later SAD to be leaving. I have delayed doing this post mostly for two reasons....
1 - I've been WAY busy unpacking and settling into our new life/home.
2 - It makes it OFFICIAL that I am gone and that makes me a little homesick.

Moving Day....the big truck parked outside our driveway.

Four guys came and packed us all up in one day.

Day two: they loaded it all.
I do have to admit that I am extremely grateful we didn't have to do that ourselves!

Then it was time to say our goodbyes.
Dallin & one of his best friends Brandon.
We took him to dinner with us the night our stuff was packed on the truck.

A week earlier, I went to dinner with some of my most favorite girls!
I think half of us almost peed our pants from laughing so hard!
Plus, they treated me to a mani & pedi...pretty awesome girls, right?

On Dallin's last day of school it coincidentally was "crazy hair day", so here he is with his two best friends and their crazy hair. Dallin's 2nd grade class was SO sweet. Every kid in his class made him a card, and the teacher had each child put their handprint in paint on a pillowcase for him. He didn't know any of this was going on until they gave it to him on his last day. We are really going to miss his teacher!

The night before we left my sweet, amazing friend Collette had a farewell bash for us at her house. We had lots of friends come and hang out, ate yummy food and said goodbye. It was so nice to be able to end our time there with one giant party. Plus, we got to see those we were closest with. We are really going to/already do miss all of these great friends!
Cesar & Logan.

The best bunch of girls I could have asked for!
Jenny, Collette, Allison, Alene, Heather, Gretchen, Carolyn, Cynde & Chloe, Jen & Addy, me.

Tad, Eric & Craig....looks pretty serious.

Carolyn & Lisa.

Did I mention all of the yummy food?

One of the bestest girls you will ever meet!!

Addie & Dallin have been friends since the day they met.

Livvy was like the triplet that belonged with these two. They always had such a great time together. Ethan & Gavin would always ask if they could go play with Livvy.

I have had so many great memories with these girls...I miss them already!
Thanks for being there for me!

No party is complete without a little Angry Birds, right??

Sweet Gretchen.
I'm definitely setting my twins up with hers in about 20 years.
Can't wait to be related!

Goodbye to our home of almost 5 years.
After we cleaned the house and were getting ready to leave it for the last time I got a little teary eyed leaving because of all the happy memories we had there. Three of my four boys were born there, we had so many wonderful people over for parties, and had so many fun visitors.

One last picture in front of their home.
Dallin said when he is an adult he is going to buy that house back AND if they don't want to sell it, then he'll offer them A LOT of money so they'll sell it to him.
My sweet sentimental boy.

I got teared up reading this post, big changes are always so hard. You are such an amazing person I'm sure you will make great friends in Arizona. I got your message Friday and haven't had a chance to call you back but yes, you have my correct phone number, and I would LOVE to chat. I hope y'all are getting settled and adjusted to your new home.

I am not great with change. I think I'm more like Dallin, super sentimental and ready to buy the house back later in life. :) Big changes like that are always bitter sweet. It is hard to leave behind awesome friends and memories, but fun to expand your circle of friends as well. I hope all is going well in AZ.
