Utah & Vegas Trip

The end of September found us enjoying the warm, wonderful weather of northern Utah, St. George & Las Vegas. Tad had some meetings for work at the end of our trip in Las Vegas, so we flew out early so we could spend time with family and do Dallin's baptism. Our time with family was a lot shorter than we wished, but we enjoyed what time we had.

We went to the Gateway with my parents and let the kids run through the water fountain, which they loved. Then we strolled around and enjoyed some cookies.

We went to Pei Wei with some of Tad's siblings and our niece and her new hubbie. It was so nice to visit.

We had Dallin's baptism, then headed down to my parents place in St. George. We hiked a short trail and slot canyon in the red hills and my boys loved climbing through the rocks.

Lovin' the red dirt.

Then onto Vegas for three nights.
Luckily for me, my mom came to play/help me with the kids while Tad was in meetings.

Gavin's favorite place by far was Excalibur. He LOVES castles! Inside they have a carnival-like area where we played games and enjoyed the castle scenery.

A view of the strip.

While on our trip, we ate at a few of our favorites like Cafe Rio and Rainforest Cafe.

The kids enjoyed M&M World....

.... and the beautiful pools at our hotel.
Life is pretty rough, can you tell?!

I love the water show at Bellagio.
So amazing!

The funniest thing happened - while we were walking back to our hotel, we ran into my mom's cousins: Janet and Doug. I love them and haven't seen them for probably close to 10 years. They live in St. George and just happened to be in Vegas getting their car fixed. It was so great to see them.

Overall, it was a hot and wonderful trip. The highlight was Dallin's baptism. It is always the best to see family again!

Seeing your Vegas pics makes me wish I'd had stowed away in your luggage! Glad you got to go to M&M's World, too! :)
