The Things They Say...

One of my favorite things about my kids is the funny things they say. I get a laugh everyday from something they've said. Here's a few classics...

Mom: (I said this in a serious voice, but was obviously joking) "Dallin, now that Logan is sleeping in your room I want you to wake up and feed him in the middle of the night when he wakes up crying."
Dallin: (later that day, just before going to bed) "Mom, where are you going to put his bottle so I can find it to feed him in the night?"

I was in disbelief! I figured he knew I was kidding! Obviously not, and he WAS willing to feed his little brother in the night. What a sweetheart!

Gavin loves to say "No thank you".
Mom: "Gavin, you need to eat your peas for dinner."
Gavin: "No thank you"

Mom: "Gavin, go clean up your toys."
Gavin: "No thank you."
Mom: "Yes thank you, go clean them up now."

He seems to think that just because he answers politely that it will get him out of doing whatever it is I ask him to do.

Tad was in the car with all the boys waiting for me so we could leave.
Gavin: "Where's mommy?"
Tad: "Mommy who?"
Gavin: "Mommy"
Tad: "Who's mommy?"
Gavin: "You know, THAT girwl." (that's how he says girl)
