One of Dallin's favorite holidays is Memorial Day, not because he loves to honor those who have died for our country, but because to him it means WaTeRfIgHt! Our ward has an annual Memorial Day BBQ and waterfight where the kids soak the bishop. Dallin talks about it year-round and really looks forward to it. Just to show how serious he is about it, we had to purchase a new "super-awesome" water gun just for the occasion. Ethan & Gavin of course needed water guns too.
We started the day off with a parade in our town. They threw candy, so of course the kids thought it was fantastic.

Gavin abandoned the fight as soon as he heard icecream was being served. Funny kid!!
Later that night, our friends Heather, Cesar & their little guy Milo came over for some homemade icecream and s'mores. Who needs a campfire when you have a little burner?
