Oh, that it could be summer year 'round! I LOVE the summer for the BBQ's, late nights, swimming, and just enjoying time with my family. Here are the highlights of our summer so far:
The Teeples Family Pool
No need to get a fancy in-ground pool when this one makes them just as happy!
Parades
4th of July parade.

Graduation
The third week in June, we were able to attend my nephew Zach's high school graduation in Albany. We were able to spend time with Tad's sister's family and Tad's parents; it was really great to see family again.
New Jersey State Fair
We went to the state fair which is held in the parking lot of the New York Giants stadium. It was fun; where else can you watch pig races, right??
Gavin crying and pointing to the ride which Dallin got to go on but not him because he's not 42 inches tall. Most parents probably wouldn't laugh at this display, but Tad and I got a kick out of it.
Alas, a ride he and Ethan could both ride; and they loved it!
BBQ's and Fireworks

S'mores & Fireflies
I can't take credit for this one, as I read about the idea in a magazine, but hey, some of the best ideas come from others. At dusk we got out our little camping burner and made some s'mores. Then when it got dark enough, we caught fireflies in our backyard (which there are a lot of around here).
Here Gavin is roasting up a good one.
Dallin caught three fireflies by himself, and I caught one each for Ethan & Gavin. They all thought it was pretty neat!
