Tad had a conference for work at a resort in Vernon, New Jersey, so the kids and I joined him and we stayed for two nights. It was a beautiful resort with several golf courses and pools. We of course didn't golf, but enjoyed time at the pool.

Tad and "the boys" swimming. Dallin and Gavin loved the water. Gavin splashed and splashed. Ethan was a little uncertain about the water. After about 15 min., Ethan was ready to get out.
In our suite there was a jetted tub which Dallin wanted to try out, so Dallin and I put some a small amount of bath gel in and filled it 2/3 full of water. We pushed the button to turn the jets on and nothing happened. Tad found the breaker and switched it, and ta-da, the jets started working. After a few minutes the bubbles were increasing exponentially which Dallin and I thought was funny. Then, it started getting a little crazy, and we couldn't stop the bubbles. We turned the jets off, but they were still multiplying. A few minutes after this picture was taken, the bubbles were overflowing onto the tile. We got Dallin out of the tub (which was 1/2 bubbles) and started to clean up, when he thought it would be fun to jump into the tub full of bubbles. Needless to say, he couldn't find the top and I had to pull out a scared little boy with a mouth full of bubbles. We eventually got it all cleaned up. So, the moral to this story is: if the breaker is off to the jets, then there is probably a reason.

I have always wanted to have a bubble bath like they have in the movies... I guess I know now how to get one (if only I had jets in my tub, or high enough sides haha)

Looks like you guys had a fun little get-away. I think it's hilarious that little Ethan didn't like the water. What a stinker! p.s. What a sweet blog on Ernie. I'm so sorry you had to do that while Tad was gone. I'm sure Ernie is very happy where he is now that he's not suffering.

That is hilarious about the bubbles. I'll hve to remember that a little bit goes a long way in a jetted tub. Dallin is a crack up. He made me laugh. Looks like a fun little get away.
