Tad's parents, Daryl & Janet Teeples, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 1st. How awesome is that? So, we planned an intimate party at the Lion House on June 9th. This is the main reason why we went to Utah when we did. We had a luncheon at the Lion House which was absolutely fabulous - from the delicious food (this is where I admit that I single-handedly ate 4, yes 4, Lion House rolls that day), wonderful company - there we 36 of us (5 weren't able to make it) and a beautiful setting. Tad's brother, Darin, did an awesome job on a powerpoint of mom and dad while telling lots of stories I'd never heard and my brother-in-law Jay sang their song "Side by Side". Then we went to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building where we had family pictures taken. A couple of us then went to the Beehive House and went on the tour then back to the JSM building to overlook the SLC temple. It really was a special day to be able to celebrate that with my in-laws. I am so lucky to have Tad's parents for my "mom" and "dad" as they are such a great example of love, sacrifice and commitment. We LOVED seeing all of our family!

Ethan LOVES his cousin Chelsea and wishes she didn't live so far away (Colorado).
Dallin, Elsee & Paige - all within 10 mos. of each other. They are the cutest cousins you've ever met! They always have such a great time together and write each other in between visits.
One of my favorite shots.

For some reason, I thought your blog went private and I couldn't view it last time I tried (??) You are inspiring me to get to work posting about our vacation, too. I LOVE getting together with family... sounds like a fabulous time!!
