It is hard to believe that we've had these crazy little guys in our family for three years! We love them more and more each day. To celebrate their birthday, we went to Giggles, an indoor playland, the night before and let them run, jump, bounce and just be boys. They had a lot of fun! Then on their birthday, we had some of our friends come over to celebrate "Thomas Style". Ethan & Gavin both love Thomas the Train, and love playing with their trains and train track, so that is what they wanted their cakes to be.

We decided that they each needed their own cake, which they really liked. It of course ended up taking me twice as long to make, but they're worth it!!

Gavin is proudly pointing to his candle that he blew out, while Ethan kept attempting, but couldn't quite do it. As you can see he kept trying to blow air out through his teeth. It was actually quite funny to watch. With some help from mom, he got his candle blown out.

They got scooters from mom and dad and Ethan mastered his quite quickly. He has been riding it around the house since. Hopefully the snow will melt soon, so we can go outside and practice some more.

The funny thing about this picture is that the outfits they have on were from Nana & Grandpa for their birthday. So, I wanted to take a picture of them in them, so I could send a picture to my mom to show her how cute they look in them. I asked them to stand in front of the door and to look at me so I could take a picture. They thought is was HILLARIOUS to sit in front of the door because I asked them to stand, not sit. After 10 minutes of attempting a shot, I finally gave up. Oh well...at least they were having fun.

I can't believe the boys are 3 already! Time goes by to quick. The birthday cakes are adorable!! I wish i had your talent. Happy Birthday Ethan and Gavin!!

I can't believe how fast the boys are growing up! I remember babysitting them... emphasis on the baby part. I dibs babysitting the new one at least once. I love your adorable kids.
