Fall Fun & Halloween

Once again it has been a beautiful Fall in New Jersey. We've really enjoyed this beautiful time and spent as much time outdoors as possible (to prepare for a LONG Winter). Here's a quick update on our recent happenings.

Playing in the leaves, and leaves a plenty there are!

Making & decorating Halloween sugar cookies.
A very long process that I'm not sure I'll do again too soon.
Ethan & Gavin ate more than they decorated; I guess that's the fun of it, right?
Dallin's first grade class went on a field trip to Ort Farm and I was able to go and chaperone. It was a lot of fun. Here's Dallin's prize pumpkin.

His first grade class.
(Funny story: as I'm sitting on the bus with all the kids on the way to the farm, some of the girls came up and told me of a girl in their class that likes Dallin & wants to kiss him. Kiss him??!! Really? And they're only in first grade! It's going to be a long haul raising these boys!)

Playgroup Halloween party at our friends, the Cooper's, home.

Pumpkin painting.
Notice the intensity Gavin has... this is serious stuff!

Dallin's jack-o-lantern.

Gavin's finished work of art.

Ethan's pumpkin masterpiece.

Our friends the Cooks, had an adult Halloween party, and of course, it was a blast!
Donuts on a string, fabulous food, and crazy costumes.

Aren't they the ugliest hillbillies you've ever seen?
Tad actually used his hillbilly voice all night; I thought I was going to kill him!

Me & some of my favorite gals!!

Our ward trunk-or-treat.
Aren't they the cutest Superman, ninja & Batman ever??

You guys had a busy month! By the way, if Dallin's got a little one chasing after him... Grace might be jealous!! That was a funny story, it's one of the reasons I like to volunteer with the kids' classes - you never know what you'll learn!

Oh my goodness. Dominic was the exact same ninja as Dallin. Got it at Walmart? They are the same little guys. Miss ya tons!
