Halloween Fun

Halloween is our second favorite holiday (Christmas being the first). Dallin loves to get a new superhero costume to add to his vast collection. I enjoy dressing the babies up and carving crazy faces in pumpkins. And of course the best part of all - free candy! (Tad argues we spend more money on candy to give out, but that's beside the point).

We had an adult Halloween costume party at our home. Tad and I were Popeye and Olive Oyl. We had a great time with our friends. Who said adults can't have fun dressing up too?

Dallin and his friend Ethan Cooper trick-or-treating at the mall a week before Halloween. They had a great time.

Our three-eyed monster: Gavin

Ironman: Dallin
He had so much fun wearing this costume and I'm sure it is just the beginning....

Our little frog: Ethan

*while I was blogging this I gave Gavin a Sharpie marker to keep him entertained for 5 minutes so I could hurry and finish (thinking of course, there's no way he could ever get the lid off). Next thing I know, Gavin is crying and I look over and see that he is crying because Ethan pulled the marker away from him (lid off) and is coloring his face (trying to eat it I bet) and carpet with it. So, after scrubbing the carpet and his face, I finished this post. Twins anyone??

I love the boys costumes! They look so cute. You guys are so fun to have a costume party- I love dressing up for Halloween but haven't had occasion to do so the last couple of years. Sorry about the sharpie- what a crack up!

Tanner and Ben are the same way with Super Hero costumes. The boys look so cute. I love all their costumes, yours and Tad's too-you guys look great. The sharpie story is hilarious, I find I do the same things too. You want to get something done so you turn your attention or give them something to entertain themselves and a mess follows. It's a trade off, I guess. Yeah, I feel for ya! Sorry for the power post. Love ya.
