For those of you who haven't been to our house, we live in Budd Lake, NJ. We live about 5 min. from the lake which our town got it's name. Dallin has been asking to go swimming there for a few weeks, so we took the boys. Ethan & Gavin cried when we put their feet in the water. They love their baths, but not cold lake water. Dallin loved the water, but more so the sand. After making a simple "castle" with a mote, burying his hands and feet, and swimming for an hour, the babies were tired of the sun. While lying on the towel, we noticed Gavin had grabbed a handful of sand and was happily eating it. It was a fun time. (Except then we had to vacuum out the sand from our car.)

How fun to be that close to the Lake and the beach. It looks like so much fun! Well except for the sand in the car. That would drive me nuts too! Love ya!

Cute pictures! I love the "beach" and letting kids play in the sand, but not the cleanup afterwards. Your boys are so cute, I feel bad that we missed each other this Summer.
